    Cristiano Panazio received Engineer’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering in 1999 and 2001, respectively, from State University of Campinas and a PhD degree in Telecommunications in 2005 from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. Currently, he is assistant professor at the Laboratory of Communications and Signals of the Escola Politécnica of the University of São Paulo. His research interests are next generation telecommunication systems, multicarrier modulation, machine learning and evolutionary computation applied to telecommunication systems, MIMO and large-scale or massive MIMO and synchronization techniques.
